Isolation schedule

I am pleased to be able to announce that the Australia Council graciously funded my ‘isolation schedule’ program of new works—These projects will have been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts, its arts funding and advisory body. Much appreciated, OzCo, thanks. The works I will be writing over the next 12 months or so will include:

luminous for solo vibraphone, for a new publication from Sylvia Smith celebrating the 100th birthday of the vibes;

ghosts of motion for clarinet d’amore, for Richard Haynes;

arcanabula for solo bassoon, for James Aylward;

resuscitatîve for solo contrabass, for Miranda Hill;

passacaglie (new version), for Italian harpsichordist Luca Quintavalle;

and

in Platonia for flute & piano, for Laura Chislett and Stephanie MacCallum.

All these works will appear in downloadable form on my Scores page as they become ready.

I have also discussed writing a saxophone quartet with Ensemble du Bout du Monde, but that is still at the preparation stage.
